What paying does and doesn’t change
Safety is not a paid feature. ID verification, admin profile validation, blocking, reporting, location privacy and moderation are the same on every tier — there is no version of this site where paying makes you safer. That is all set out on the safety page.
What paying changes is speed: how many people you can message, how precisely you can search, and how visible your profile is. If Classic is doing the job, stay on Classic.
